Charlie fuckin whats his name from QPR..

Are we buying him or what?

We've got more midfield players than you can shake a stick at, sniffing more defenders and 2 or 3 deep coverage for full backs ffs..

BUT - if Sakho gets injured or gets found out + we know that AC wont be back before Xmas - who the fucks going to score the goals to keep us up?

I am not as adverse to playing Sakho wide as some people.

Valencia and him, when they were playing together set up wide and pressured from there. Only when we had sustained possesion did they really stay in the centre.

Look how many goals Sakho scored with headers and tap ins at the far post after making a run in.

But playing them with another striking is a pretty offensive lineup, especially with Payet also playing.

It's too risky to have just one 1st class striker available. It could relegate you. Look at Villa, who missed Benteke all season until the end. Same thing happened to us with Carroll the season before last.

I'd rather we paid a striker a bit more money and told them they will play half the games. Unless a striker can guarantee they wont get injured they cant insist on playing all the league games. The position is too important.

i think the issue could be that if bilic is going to play one up front then we would need a striker more adept to playing in a variety of roles. of course someone is bound to say that sakho will get injured, which he may do, but there aren't many teams who two best strikers constantly alternate to fill one place in the side, and are both happy to do so. of course if he is going to play two up front, or if bilic sees either austin or sakho as someone who can fill in as a wide forward, then maybe its not an issue.

I don't see the problem with 15m...pretty reasonable for a proven goal every other game Striker and considering another young british player has just sold for 50m !...We paid that for Valencia & how much would we value Sakho at if anybody came in for him now?... i would guess at least that!!

ba signed for Shanghai Shenua last month. Remy isn't leaving Chelsea unless they get another striker in it seems, Austin could be an option maybe towards the end of the window.

Balotelli? I don't know whether to laugh or cry!

We need a striker. If Sahko gets injured we have no one who can score goals at this level. (Caroll is never fit and makes the whole team play differently). Valencia doesnt seem like an out an out striker to me.

It's not even a maybe, we need either a Remy, Austin, Ba or Balotelli. Anyone with that 15+ goal ability. All round 15m or less.

We got lucky with Sahko, we wont find anything like that again.

I would sign him ... Prolific goal scorer where ever he's played and seems to have got better & better!..he's only 26 and scores a goal every other game according to his stats!...that's better than what we have at the moment!!.... No brainier for me .. Yes Sakho is good but if injured who do we have?

Why not, FCJ? He scores as many, as both of those two, together. It would depend on the day and who we were playing against. 18 goals for a relegated side, is really good. How many would he score, if he was playing for a top team?

Doesn't Bilic favour one up front anyway with wide players.
Would you drop Sahko or Carroll (if fit) for Austin? I know I wouldn't. I assume the likes of Valencia or Maiga will end up playing wider roles unless he changes systems.

Carroll is broken as usual and Maiga you'd guess would be shipped off to France as soon as anyone expresses an interest.
At the moment Sahko is the only one on that list you might be good for 10+ Premiership goals.
Valencia you'd think is on a bit of a precipice. The experience of a Premiership season might kick him on to better things. Or not.

I'd be surprised if Carroll or Maiga get much in the way of games this season. Either way we should drop two from our list of strikers and replace with 1.

Would be a waste of money IMO.
We have Valencia, Sahko, Carroll, Maiga, Zarate, Lee, Samuelson and other youth players. Unless we are going to buy a top top quality striker or ship some of these out then why bother?
